Weighbridge Operator

As Weighbridge Operator you will ensure the smooth operation of the Weighbridges, you will weigh, sample and process all vehicles, in compliance with relevant legislation, health, safety, environment, feed safety, quality and output standards and requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Promote a culture of people safety and feed safety by championing best practices and ensuring accountability and adherence to Company standards
• Act as the first point of contact for all drivers
• Operation of weighbridge systems
• Process relevant paperwork and maintain accurate records in a timely manner
• Ensure quality assurance and carryout quality control analysis for all raw materials and finished feeds in line with Company standards.
• Pro-actively build relationships with stakeholders, working to always exceed expectations and act as an ambassador for the Company.
• Build and utilise a sound knowledge of the products, services, supply chain principles and internal systems.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards within the Weighbridge office
• Build cross-functional team relationships and coordinate handovers effectively

The Person:

We are looking for a candidate with the following essential skills:

• Strong communication
• Ability to organise work, prioritise and be decisive
• Strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of data entry
• Ensure and accept accountability
• Hold a full UK car driving licence
• Proficient IT skills
• GCSE’s, including Maths and English grade C/4

It is desirable if the candidate also has the following skills:

• Previous experience in agriculture, production, supply chain planning and or logistics
• Experience of process control / ERP system
• Counterbalance / FLT licence
