Ian Mosey (Livestock) Ltd is a reputable family owned business whose activities include the breeding, rearing, and finishing of pigs throughout the North of England.

We currently have a new opportunity to join the Ian Mosey team as a Livestock Driver, based from our Blackdale Mill site, near Hovingham.

Typical Duties:

As a Livestock Driver, you will be allocated your own vehicle and will be primarily responsible for the loading, transporting and unloading of pigs. Driving in rural locations on rural roads, you will haul our livestock between Ian Mosey farms and from farms to abattoir, throughout the North of England.

You will need to be comfortable being ‘hands on’ with the pigs and cleaning down the vehicle (including the trailer) to ensure we comply with hygiene regulations.

You will predominantly work Mon-Fri. This is a tramping role, so you must be open to 'nights out' in the evenings and this can range from 0 – 4 nights per week.

Skills and Experience:

• Class 1 Licence 1 year (preferred)
• Driver CPC 1 year (preferred)
• Experience of livestock preferable but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year (preferred)
