Our ruminant range provides well balanced nutritional solutions to support all growth and production stages for both cattle and sheep. Across our product range, we have solutions that are tailored for a wide variety of different ruminant production systems whether intensive or extensive, simple or more complex. All our ruminant products are highly palatable and aim to improve rumen function and are formulated for targeted ruminant nutrition, optimal health and performance throughout all life stages.

Ian Mosey Cattle Feed
Our range of cattle products is designed to cover a large variety of life stages:
Youngstock
Our youngstock range offers a highly palatable calf starter pellet to encourage the transition from milk to solid feed intake, aid early rumen development and support good growth muscle development. For replacement heifers intended to join a milking herd, Our heifer rearer nuts support growth in heifers post weaning to help achieve the desired body weight and condition required for improved performance at first service and calving.
Suckler cows
This diet is designed to take beef suckler cows through the later stages of gestation, through calving and in to early lactation, our suckler range comes as a nut and a pellet to cater for indoor and outdoor suckler systems. Both are formulated to support the maintenance of optimum body condition and the onset of milk production.
Beef
Our range of beef products are designed for young beef cattle in the early stages post weaning. This product support the initial growth stages with a balanced energy and protein product. Our beef finisher aids optimises the final finishing conformation whilst also helping to maintain optimal rumen function and reduce risk of bloat.
Additionally, our range also offers a cattle protein concentrate which has been formulated to compliment any home grown cereals fed during the grower and finisher stages of beef production.
Ian Mosey Sheep Feed range
Our sheep product range supports lamb, ewe and sheep at all production stages:
Lamb
Our lamb range is highly palatable and encourages the increased intake of solid feed from birth. The starter pellets have been designed to aid early rumen development and support good growth muscle development. To support the continued growth through to slaughter, our lamb finisher pellets are designed to give finishing lambs the boost they require to finish faster whilst our store lamb product continues help to sustain good body condition. Additionally, these pellets aid the reduction of the risk of urinary calculi developing in maturing male lambs.
Additionally, our range also offers a lamb and sheep protein concentrate which has been formulated to compliment any home grown cereals fed during the grower stage of lamb production and for breeding ewes respectively.
Ewe
The ewe range is formulated to compliment a forage based diet in the pre tupping stage in order to improve ewe body condition before tupping as they head in to the winter period and the early critical stages of gestation thereafter. The ewe product range is available either as nuts, pellets or rolls to compliment your production system, whether indoor or outdoor. Our range of products supports ewes through late gestation, lambing and early stages of lactation and provides tailored support for both twin bearing ewes and single lamb bearing ewes. The ewe range is balanced for energy and protein to support lamb growth and vigour as well as early milk production.
